Elements of an Essay — Traditionally, it is often taught that an official essay is comprised of three parts: the introductory paragraph or introduction, your body paragraphs, and the concluding paragraph. An essay does not need to be this easy, nonetheless it is a good kick off point.
The paragraph that is introductory three purposes: it captures the reader’s interest, it suggests the necessity of the essay’s topic, and it ends with a thesis sentence. Often, the thesis sentence states a claim that consists of a couple of points that are related. As an example, a thesis might read:
